That's of no concern to me; I think they did something early on during Julia Gillard's ascension to PM.
I do think Tim Mathieson has been treated pretty harshly in the media though. I also feel incredibly sorry for the hateful insults Gillard's family has had to endure from the likes of Alan Jones.
Australians are a fairly socially conservative lot overall and I think Julia Gillard's marital status, her stand on religion and pro-feminism have adversely impacted on the perceptions people have of her.
Nor has Labor provided a plausible answer for why it removed Kevin Rudd and replaced him Julia Gillard.
