Han Long is so COMMITTED (as you insist) but they would ODDLY walk away from China's deal once and for all (ABANDONING the PRC's only vehicle with the FIRB approval to acquire SDL) in a tantrum of rage when we vote NO (to pass judgement on whether the 45 cents deal is acceptance as maintained by George Jones - yep the bloke you stated on HC as having answered YOUR specific qyestion about the perilous implications of a NO vote). LOL!

Baukaw, this whole thing is prabably going to fall apart when the media starts to leak about a unofficial counter-bid "allegedly" with a bid price higher than 45 cents.

A mining permit with GOTCHAS will not save Han Long's bid. Shareholder revolt amid market controvery and outrage will put the spotlight back to the SDL board for the SAFEGUARD BS (and the unnecessary sacrifice for the bend-over-forward discount to 45 cents in exchange for a useless NO-SHOP-NO-TALK condition).

Once an alledged higher bid is leaked, the SDL board (aka George Jones) will be lynched (figuratively speaking) if it is not transparently conveyed to the market and without a damn good justification for not recommending such an offer or putting it up for a vote.
