Where do we get that Alan Jones owns 2GB or MRN? MRN main sahareholder is Singo @ 71.26%; then PEC Nominees (a private company controlled by Mark Carnegie, the investment banker) @ 15.64%. The Top 20 own 95.55%. Not sure AJ owns any of it, but he could be in there somewhere in nominee accounts of a super account under another name. I get the feeling that the meeting/dinner had between AJ and Singo the other night was not just high fiving.
