Agreed,
But its not always about what you are being told, It's about what is not said, kinda like thinking outside the box. The term "Lubrication" is a very loose term, I work on the mechanical side of the oil & gas industry, lubrication/detergents can take many many forms.
I believe Fraccing has been labelled as a whole and should be individually measured/assessed on a case to case basis. This should be done during the approval process by the DMP. It start with education, but the media has put the fear into the public about the process.
If larger companies like Baker hughes, Haliburton or Chesapeake have encountered past problems from fraccing and heading down this path of "Green" procedures, then its a experience worth listening too if it means we can continue, but ultimately its the government that will make the decision.
Hypothetical question
If fraccing in Australia was already using "greenie approved" fraccing fluid, would we still be at a stand still?
These are only my thoughts.
