I haven't posted on PGI for some time but the lack of PGI announcements recently and then this Appendix B today will leave room for speculation.
I don't bother contacting BJ any more but from my last involvement with him and PGI I understand that it was always the intent to have two dredges available on-site. One operating and one in reserve that would be utilised when the primary dredge was down for maintenance or suffered a mechanical malfunction. My assumption from today's announcement is that PGI is simply executing its operational plan in this instance.
IMO however this should have been communicated as part of today's news release.
