it's now a case that the market is factoring in the possibility that Jeruk reserves won't be as big as previously thought. The stock has had two broker downgrades (UBS AND Bell Potters) over the weekend, as well as a very unflattering article published last Friday focussing on the potential damage and downside risk likely to Santos, if indeed Jeruk doesn't measure up!
I am still a believer in Jeruk, and have been for well over a year! However, the drilling has met with obstacles along the way, and is proving to be hard to get to target depth to verify reserve potential. Jeruk is a large reserve, but it may be necessary to either do another sidetrack, or indeed drill another hole altogether! Friday's article indicated it could take up to another six months drilling and testing, which will obviously mean more expense for CUE and Santos/Partners, and more frustration for investors.

Oyong will be going into production soon for CUE so its not all bad.

And besides, at the end of the day, we've heard nothing really negative from Santos or Cue to indicate that they see a problem, so do we believe the journo's and brokers, or do we stick with our gut feel and back the oilers to live up to what was potentially promised.!
Regardless, the market will factor in both likelihoods
and outcomes, and it can only mean more money via
cheaper buying now if a positive outcome is finally reached, or less money and possible losses if a negative outcome eventuates! All depending of course on what you originally paid, how long you've been in, and the risk factor that your prepared to accept. I trust this clarifies where the market is at with CUE
at the present time.
