what lies beneath???

Ok Possums today was a bit of a fizzer SP wise but we can take some real comfort that the assays confirmed the POTENTIAL of the copper deposits. As TNG have been at pains to point out, mineralisation below and above the surface can be very different things.

Whilst I admit to a bit of a heart flutter when I read through the table of assay results the reality is that we need to wait another 8-10 weeks to get the drill cores assayed so we are now looking at the middle of December or later for final results. Any surge in the SP today would have been unsustainable IMHO without drill and assay results to confirm "what lies beneath" the surface.

In the meantime TNG are sure to have their own Geos on site when drilling commences and we may well receive some kind of confirmation or update of what they are seeing and reading with their trusty XRF Niton gun. The Niton gun has been very accurate over a number of years and multiple deposits dating back to the Manbarrum zinc deposits. From memory this gun cost something like $85k so it is a good piece of field equipment.
