Huh? Starwoman??
Billabong went international in the 1980''s
What has bought billabong down is a perfect cocktail of bad luck.......poorly timed expensive debt fueled move into retail........rapid bolt on acquisitions/ growth withoit backup integration......plus the currency move,ent.....unseasonable weather.......natural disasters ( japan, nz, qld floods).....poor management etc.,,,all these are cyclical or can be fixed...
This year we should have a very hot natural disaster free summer.......the dollar should depreciate to increase competitiveness.......and now that we have people experienced in retail management......as opposed to marketers who built the busienss......the execution issues should get ironed out.....
Go billabong!!!!
