ewartd, what would you like to do, force FAR to keep the asset and dump money into it explorering something that will amount to very little return. I would like to understand why you think it is a joke, more a joke to hold onto it or to sit here and put this much focus on it. Their focus is East and West Africa they have made that very clear which is ok with me. We are talking about a few hundred thousand here in this transation even if they sold it for 500K that would mean nothing to the SP. We are talking about a lease here they own just over 11% on one area that is small and underdeveloped, not worth the hassle or the effort. It probably was back dated to match up with renewals or the other leases in the Carnarvon basin that were sold to them by Pan Pacific as well. I am not at all fussed on this and really wonder why anyone truely cares here. Might want to go back and re-think what investing in an explorer really means as far as a financial interest. Unless you plan on taking up a significant chuck of the company the only say you have is at voting time and even then your votes and everyone elses on this forum are unlikely to sway any decision.
