whatever works for you dazzaa .If I followed what the chartists said on some of the stocks I'm in they would've cost me a lot of money plenty of times . Personally I think it's best not to marry yourself to one prescribed method unless that's your only skill or belief ,it's always beneficial to keep an open mind.Charting plays a prominent role for sure but for longer term plays I largely ignore it .In fact when the chart looks terrible is when I generally go in. It starts to look better after a while
