Yes, no one is complaining the the government does the RIGHT thing with the money it steals from tax. It's the fact that the money spent on these things is eclipsed by the huge mountain of waste and incompetence and outright rorting that get's everyone pissed off. For example what is the combined federal and state goverments monthly interest bill? Somewhere between 2 and 3 billion would be my guess, lets say 2 to be generous, that's 24 BILLION dollars a year stolen from the people and the economy and given to foreign privately owned banks for literally nothing. Now compare that 24 billion to other items in the budget like health, education roads etc and tell me where the majority of the stolen tax money is going.
