Streaming is where it's at.
DVD rental was only ever a way of building a customer base to transfer over to streaming once the technology made it feasible....which is now.
I was very surprised when Telstra sold thier rental biz to QFX.
Must have been a change of plan for them. Why else would Telstra ever have gotten into the DVD rental business in the first place if not to anticipate the transfer to streaming?

I was very encouraged by the 40% increase in streaming customers in the last results. Would hope to see the same or more this time around. It's too early to value this on total subs.......it's really only the total streaming subs that will count in the long run.....or being bought out by one of any number of media players who would love to have the first mover advantage that QFX has!
