Ann. 29 September.
The well continues to flow-back drilling fluids to the surface under natural pressure. Approximately 50,000
barrels of drilling fluids were used to drill the 4000 ft horizontal leg of this well. Although it takes more time, it is preferable that the well expel these fluids naturally rather than being lifted out by a pump jack. Austin’s engineering team continues to monitor the well around the clock in expectation that oil production is
imminent. Results will be communicated to the market as soon as they become available.
What are the two most significant words in that statement.
HORIZONTAL and IMMINENT
Those 50,000 barrels were used in the 4000 ft horizontal section, NOT the vertical section. Fluids take MUCH longer to travel horizontally and over a length of 4000 ft especially under natural pressure. So, we should understand the time taken to get these results.
BUT, the use of the word IMMINENT in a stock that is definitely one that STs play with and has also created great expectation in the other SHs, should MEAN "IMMINENT", "soon to happen". That was 18 days ago!!!!
Maybe these Americans are great oilers, but, they need to brush up on their use of the English language.
