Don't mean to be pedantic but saying something that achieves 100% is "statistically insignificant" seems to be taking the news out of context. Maybe look at the news a different way. Could they have have possibly achieved a higher success rate in the 400mg group for this trial? This is about the best we could possibly have hoped for from this followup.
Lets remember that this is a 2a trial and thus the size is limited. Surely its not as statistically meaningful as a larger later phase trial but to say its meaningless is incorrect. This result justifies and guarantees further trials. That significant both statistically and in every other way.
Now we are counting down the weeks before HIV trial concludes. This is finally starting to feel like the hottest ticket in town. Maybe this xmas will be the best ever.
