    At 200km it's 9.2 which has dropped 6 %.

    Density change is not negligible, as Felix's jump demonstrated.

    TV can't necessarily be used to determine his speed because he's already carrying momentum from his previous acceleration through thinner atmosphere. My guess is that for a certain height he will travel so fast that when he hits the thicker atmosphere below it will tear his suit apart - I don't know what height that is.
