Perhaps "bots" isn't the correct term, but it's the term I learned for computer aided trading of lots of small parcels, usually avoiding normal brokerage fees.
Today, of 109 total trades, 102 of them were for less than 1,000 shares, 5 or 10 minutes apart; over 60 of the trade were for less than 500 shares.
That's either a "bot" or a teenager with a computer terminal and entirely too much time on his hands.
