    Hi stlamc,

Thanks for clarifying pallets and pellets.

I have seen so many GRR posts mentioning pallets and considered posting a little 'edification' on the subject but in the end thought that the DYOR rule should apply.

Now that you have raised it -

The Savage River mine is a magnetite mine. Ore is crushed at the mine and pumped in a slurry format via an 85 km pipeline to Port Latta (on the NW coast of Tasmania) where the crushed ore is processed into pellet format for shipment - there is a dedicated shipping facility. The GRR pellets are about the size of the marbles that kids once played with - a good handful would be around 50 pellets - much smaller than a pallet!. Pellets are more 'palatable' than pallets.

(Longman's dictionary - palatable = "an idea, suggestion etc that is palatable is acceptable")

    Cheers.
    DYOR
