re: Ann: Notice of Annual General Meeting/Pro... from my experience, capital raisings provide great price support levels in the stock price at the level the raising is done at.
i pulled up a 5 year chart of MEL, which is as far as my platform goes back, and MEL has only traded below 20c in the first two weeks of August 2012 in the WHOLE LAST 5 YEARS.
the way i see it, unless you bought in those two weeks, then you can't complain about MELs market timing.
