If the EIA fault-line basin outline proves to be correct in terms of prospectivity, then most of Buru's acreage will be a waste of money.

They will have hit most of the areas already and will focus on proving these up rather than discovering something major in new permits.

Still, this basin has surprised everybody so far so BRU wouldn't be writing off those permits outside the fault-line areas.

It will however reaffirm anatol's initial assertion that NSE's permits are in the best bits of the basin.
