My apologies db. You are correct. Could be as simple as stop loss triggers being automatically enacted. Or, some people just having enough and getting out.
Always suspect with us retail investors, when a stock that is about to drill or has already started (as in OBL's case) has a sp go down. Usually, from my experience, they go up.
I guess I am getting paranoid in my old age, as there are so many apparently 'devious' things going on - such as NSE today where a big seller comes on in the morning and the announcement comes out at 1530 hr. A lot of suspicion around that transaction over on the NSE forum.
Or, KAR today - sp down after massive discovery. Many over on KAR forum suspecting high frequency trading.
and so it goes on, and on, on any number of stocks - at least the ones I am following.
It's hard to be a retail investor in the current market, imo. Maybe I should invest in real estate instead?
