I have read many posts on this forum suggesting a share consolidation is required before there is any 'serious' considerations re ABU. I do not hold those same sentiments. I am quite happy with the 3 billion shares and can see no advantage in a consolidation.

In support of my thoughts it is interesting to see what has happened to TAM SP since their consolidation in 2010. Simplistically any advantage to shareholders who experienced the consolidation of 1 for 30, as passed on 20 August 2010, should indicate the pre consolidation SP x 30. With TAM sp closing today at 0.735 that equates to a 0.0245 pre consolidation SP.

(TAM 2012 Annual Report does provide some dates and prices for issue/expiry of options)

I cannot find any reference to TAM SP prior to consolidation, but if somebody can provide figures which show the advantages to the SP post consolidation, I could be persuaded to reconsider my position.

In the meantime, I do not think the numbers of shares ABU have really matters, if they have the goods, to increase the SP. This is why I wait with bated breath for further Drilling/Assay results, and further details re Trial Mining. ABU has Cash in the Bank, and Gold in the Ground, the number of shares is in MO irrelevant.
