Due can always become overdue for any number of reasons under or outside of IK's control.
Personally, as i have a longer term investment in mnm, I would have preferred the BM scoping study to come after the hyped fanfare of LV allocations or the like. In that way this important ann could have been better understood by the market.
Atm the market isn't sure the brown coal Pilbara will be a reality. Too many uncertainties; will the technology be commercially successful? Will the profitability be there? Will the Capex be prohibitive? Will the Greens shoot down any bce project?
With S7 coal allocated, when several companies and overseas JV partners involved in a variety of bce projects are committed to advancing their projects, then we will see the true market value of BM and the LV bc ground realised in mnm's mc.
