    Then what's BP's reason? They are not affiliated with any majors for docket discounts.

    On a side note I have to defend Caltex. Where I live the population catchment is about 15,000 residents. We have one petrol station. We don't get gouged considering the monopoly held by Caltex. Today we are at $151.9, on the low end of the hike. Most days they are at a par or cheaper.

    Personally, I find the majors have far more permanent price reductions, and massively discounted groceries day in day out. And I'm referring in particle to staples, not over priced items discounted because no one is buying
    them.

    I believe they get kicked too much.
