How many mills along that journey could FML acquire? A significant problem is the short-termism of sh in Australia. Gold has risen for 12 years, and typically gold runs run for 17, this run up given that the whole world is in debt could either spike much higher sooner, or take more than the next 5 years to get to $5000.

Either way, Plan B, FML goes alone, is not going to be the disaster everyone fears. The mentality appears to be that its better to jump into the fire I know about than continue as-is and back my judgement, the POG will raise all boats, and SD won't be the last Chinese Co, to take serious interest.

What will SD do if repudiated? Sulk? Slink away? Buy on market?

Its time like these you need nerves. You don't throw your hand in just because you think you have pairs 2's and 3's. SD may not be the ace we think it is, maybe just a 4.
