re: Ann: Newera Issues Notice to Continue wit... Good work. The management did the due dil on the ground via the coal trenching before they put their foot on this. I am super pleased with this deal. No real money upfront until all their work is done to prove this up properly. They can buy upto 80% of this project for only a million bucks. Like to see a better deal than that. I see the market is finally working out coal is actually here to stay and that Mongolia is a good destination again. RIO's issues are political and on a massive scale. Nru is off the radar. I am hoping we see some consistent quality coal here. If we were so lucky to have coking coal, look for 10-20 times your money down the track IMO.
U only need to mine 1m tons and make a thin margin of $20 and the company could be worth $60-$100m cap. This sort of project should be ideally placed to scale up like GUF's project in Mongolia. (Only NRU might be even closer to surface and the workforce). If this is coking coal or slightly less quality than that, the margins will be much higher than $20 IMO. These guys don't need major tonnages to make money given where they are etc. look for results in the next few weeks.
This would have been capped at $50m before Europe happened with this sort of upside, so it is all upside from here. Dyor
