Goodaye again Dozen, where you mention
"WCL has used about $120 million since listing in 2007."
if that figure is correct, wouldn't that include Paranui, Tilbrook etc.

WCL didn't acquire Meridian until March 2010.

My figure of $100m was only an example - I have no idea what it would cost to develop Meridian to a point where it was producing 65tj/d.
But I do think the cost would be closer to your figure, than my example.

The point I was wanting to make was that if we did not do the deal with LNG/Petro, that all is not lost.
Because if Petro walked away, then it would be because of price issues.
We would then be in a position to execute a GSA, into prices which could nearly be triple what we are getting now.

And once we have an executed GSA with a credible counter-party, then we have a bankable basis to raise funding.
Those avenues of funding I mentioned are all realistic methods. They are not new.

The question of cost of devt of Meridian - i have asked mgt before and received no real answer. Maybe we can put that to them at the AGM.
If we do nat have adeal with Petro or someone by then, then it is a question which will need to be answered imho.

But all in all, I reckon we are on a winner.

    cheers
