SS, just for a little perspective my little private company $50M+PA is paying our two independent Directors $65KPA plus a $20k (with spouses) Eu conference trip annually.
Lynas, (a public company with far more onerous responsibilities) pays a base of $100K plus $12.5/30K for committees and they are asking another $500K to appoint another Independent Director and devolve some of the committee responsibilities from the Executive Chair in preparation for a separation of the roles.
Hardly earth shattering and I would have thought exactly what so many here were clamoring for.
