During that family photo shoot Tony Abbott told us he preferred to watch the English soapies, Downtown Abbey, in preference to watching the AFL and Rugby finals.
But just the other day when the media opportunity arose, Abbott came out and boasted his love for rugby - so which is it; Downtown Abbey or Aussie rugby?
Therein lies one of Abbott's multitude of problems; in trying to take advantage of every populist opportunity he has exposed himself as the hollow man - someone who really stands for nothing but the criticism of others.
You don't maintain a ~60% dissatisfaction rating without compelling reasons.
