re: plough low grade-acturtle thank you cd I am no expert but this is what I know rightly or wrongly:
To me te relevance of milling cost(grinding flotation) increases as grade decreases and rock hardness index increases.
Apart from actual mining and transport to mill the other downstream costs and fixed costs are independant of grade.
Looking at the chairman report the strip ratio does look very high for the main pit, although the seams compensate for this with their high grade. The sub 3 gram/ a tonne grade overall however would indicate they will be milling outside of where the seams are does that sound correct?
It does look more feasable to me after reading the report.
