I haven't bought one, but I did sell my less than 2 year old Toshiba Tecra a couple of months ago. Bidder got a good article at a bargain price, but I wanted a more up to date model.
As they say check the feedback - I, along with many others, was caught on a first time seller rip off merchant who we managed to track down and been prosecuted for fraud.
Buyer beware applies in auctions as well.
