I'm a bit disappointed . In a follow up post to you I said you that mine was a serious entry. I was and I am still serious.

I suggested gold in US$ would be equal to the DJI on your final date. So that surely is a definite number/price.

The POG may not exactly equal the Dow, but you're looking for the closest guess to the real thing, so I perhaps have a fair chance.

But you've excluded me from your final list, and I'm buggered if I can see why.
