Ausheds, though the increase in total remuneration "provides scope" to increase the number of Non-Executive Directors and as Non-Executive Chair until such time as they elect to do so, it increases their individual remuneration. They have not said they will elect to do so, simply that if shareholders vote to increase remuneration, they might think about it. Sounds like a con to me. They could have easily made the increase conditional on the appointment of additional Non-Execs? In my experience, deliberately vague language is normally interpreted in a way beneficial to the protagonists...
