We all understand your frustration. For arguments sake you should call a drilling company in that part of the country and ask just how soon they will have a rig available. Let me assure you they will NOT say "we have many rigs sitting in the yard, we can go to Dundas right now".
Forget the media hype about the mining boom being over and out in Australia. Its alive and well!!!!!!!!!!
I work in the mining industry. I turned down 3 job offers just yesterday alone.
