Ha ha Sdaji. Hippies love you so why all the hate...

For me it is simple. The world is continuing to use more oil but we only have finite reserves of stuff in the ground. Algae-tec has a technology that can produce the stuff indefinitely, and as the cost of getting it out and demand push the price of oil up, Algae-tec costs should stay fairly stable, making it very attractive from an energy price stability perspective and removing the cost concerns to some extent (inevitable rising cost of oil will only make this tech more attractive as time goes on). Finally the technology is modular and easily transportable which should make it really attractive in any number of circumstances without even taking into account carbon pricing and my points of demand/supply above.

Dunno Sdaji, there is a lot to like. Yes, it is early stage, and yes it's speculative but with that comes the big profits. If the tech works and is cost effective, as we should find out soon we will be happy hippies living the fairy tale and you will be a bitter old man/woman.
