Socrates44, Iran must give up it's nuclear program totally and such a back down is not a political option with the present regime.
It's that simple and that impossibly complicated.
A total revolution in Iran is the only real alternative to war. Will the present regime fight to the death to hold on to power?
Probably not.
I can see the opportunity of a relatively peaceful spring type revolution in Iran. Should Israel bomb Iranian nuclear facilities any thought of revolution will be snuffed out.
As in the past with Iraq missile attacks on Israel it may decide to turn the other cheek in order to achieve a longer term goal.
