re: News: NewSat Limited presents to the Aust... From memory CSM AB has signaled his resignation on two separate occasions.

On one occasion the ann. read
"....After 10 years of successful founding, launching and leading Newsat, the Companys Chief Executive Adrian Ballantine has confirmed his decision to retire as CEO before 30th.June 2010. At the Boards request Adrian has agreed to remain a non executive Director and strategic consultant following his retirement..."

If there was a conspiracy to remove AB why would the bid be rejected? Also he was electing to stay as CEO up to June 2010 and after that remain on in a consulting capacity. Not what an incoming Company would want nor .

Luckily EWC Payments Ltd [I think they were called] withdrew their offer siting either large problems with either a large Bank or the ATO and their very existence was in doubt if an unfavourable finding was made against them. Also luckily AB rescinded his resignation and stayed on. As they say, the rest is history. We have gone from strength to strength since then.

I can understand the angst aimed at AB for past "indiscretions" but Newsat no longer = AB.

Newsat now = Adrian Ballantine, Adam Shapiro, David Ball, Michael Hewins, Len McGoldrick, etc. and now you can add William Abbott to that exclusive group. This is a gathering of some of the most astute minds in the satellite industry Worldwide.

ONCE we get the finance [not IF]there is nothing to stop us getting the satellites launched.

Then the SP will start to run up.

Until then I agree with CSM. The current SP while very frustrating is just a sign of the times [waiting, lack of info, frustration, etc]. Look past that and do the maths.

With Jab1,3,& 4 successfully launched our SP will also be heading for the stars. Revenue from Jab1 alone is projected at $3.5BILLION over 15 years useful life at only 70% capacity. Most sats in the area have 90% capacity so $3.5billion could even be understating by up to another $1billione. This is expected to produce 80% PROFIT. That is from only 1 satellite!! Add in the other 2 and you have an absolutely extraordinary future for Newsat [and therefore the investors]. On top of this we have 8 slots.

IMO for those who can afford to hold the wait will be well rewarded and all their fears and frustrations will be long forgotten.
