you are joking, do you know what murray pine looks like ?
it is beautiful shades of blonde, with various colours and tones, a golden colour overall...

so a patch of dark teak in the middle of a murray pine timber floor...is not an option...

or a stain compared to natural timber ??

natural timber floors are like a masterpiece, a huge feature in a period home...
gloss floors are really not practical, in the kitchen, dining, living areas....
that is why they make them in matt, satin, and gloss finishes....
like horses for courses....
each serves its own purpose, one is more suited than another
