Let me refresh my post.

The truth is "Plugged and Abandoned" does not mean that the well is a dud. It simply means that it is plugged for re-entry at a later date.

Here is what other posters said about P&A before here on Hotcopper;
"P&A means just that and does not necessarily mean that the well has been left in a state so that it can be re-entered at a later date. If the intention is to re-enter the well at a later date then that is usually stated and the well is capped and sealed for future re-entry. This well does not appear to be optimally located and there seems to be no reason to want to go back in at a later date."

"The well will now be plugged and abandoned as planned and Century Rig #7 will be released..."

We all know that Paradise-1 well drilling was succesful.

Suspension of well is different, When the well is suspended it means that it hasn't reached to the total depth and it will be re-entered at a later date for operating more.
