If the 'sophisticated investors' being targeted for the AIM IPO see real value in the international assets, at a risk they can live with, then the cost of buying in the IPO would probably be higher than buying DTE on the Australian Exchange. (and will give exposure to all Dart Energy assets)

Does that mean that some of those same investors might make some direct purchases of DTE here?

I have given thought to participating in the IPO, but instead, decided to 'double' my current holding, which according to my math, effectively gives me 'new' exposure to the price change in the new shares.

This may be simplistic or even wrong, but it works for me, though it does not feed any capital into Dart Energy.

I don't know about, and it is not really my business to care about, possible share price manipulation. All I know is that when the gas starts flowing in ever increasing volumes, the stock will probably then be trading at a premium rather than a discount.

Are any readers of this thread planning to participate in the IPO?
