if saddam makes a mistake like attacking kuwait, then the world community has the right for force. however according to UNICEF yankee trade embargoes to iraq have played a big reason to the deaths of half million innocent children.. a form of genocide. iraq has not been harming their neighbours since 1991, cos he hasn't got the power to do so, literally. so what the international community is saying, if saddam has been relatively quiet for the past 12 or so years give us PROOF that saddam has breached UN security council resolutions as a means to oust saddam in order for a regime change...unfort a regime change in afghanistan thus far has been a total nightmare, the locals have gone more feral. it will be much worse in iraq. if the u.s is seeking to oust autocratic leaders then look at castro, mugabe, kim jong, jintao, saudi arabian royal family etc.. why saddam, cos iraq's got the second largest oil field in the world.
