But are you defending the non-literal use of the word 'misogyny' or just making an observation?
The reason I ask is that I have always believed one of the best ways to empower oneself/one's group/one's gender etc is to provide compelling arguments for your case. This requires a good grasp of language and skills in debating and reasoned thinking. I believe it is better therefore to use the wide and rich English vocabulary as it is intended.
Anyway, I respect your views, you want good things. I think we just differ in our approach to achieve them.
