From my understanding, the bit about the directors only needing to take the outcome of the remuneration vote as a guide is normal practice. What it means is, if they get another vote like this next time, the two strike rule applies and a board spill must occur.
So if we get this no vote up, it will blow the wind right up them to perform for their shareholders over the next year.
