Hi Robmillion, the minor upgrade is basically extending a passing loop halfway between Thabazimbi and Ellisras in order that 50 truck trains can cross, now the line can only have one train either in or out at any one time.

This extended loop will allow two trains to be in section, thus effectively incresing the current capacity by 400%.

Too achieve the 20 plus million tons will require more passing loops with asscoiated civil work, electrification and access points for the new producers.
