if you hold a portfolio of shares and the asx goes below the 30 plus moving average, you are bound to lose in the short to medium term. protect capital and protect profits.
i love ivr, but from memory, i sold all my holding on the first day of trading, at over double the issue price. this year, i sold again when the price started to come back down!
