re: Ann: Notice of Annual General Meeting/Pro... Well at least there is some excitement in OBJ thread's for a change.

    Here's my thinking...

    Resolution 1
I'm voting against the remuneration report. Firstly Jeff's salary of $231K/annum seems excessive for a non-producing company. I really like Jeff and his scientific prowess, but this salary (although it's not quite akin to JP Snr's $330K/yr in PNO) seems excessive.

Glyn earned $79K in primary salary (@1.5K/day) by my calcs he worked 52 days last year for OBJ. That's also excessive.

Quirky and Hammond I'm OK with.

So I vote no. I think that if a whole bunch of shareholders voters voted no then that would constitute a first strike under ASIC rules which might provide something of a wake up call. I expect however that the major shareholders won't vote this way.

    Resolution 2
I'm voting no. And the only reason is to register my dis-satisfaction with our non-executive chairman's communication abilities. It won't make any differeence because he will be re-elected to the board by major shareholders.

    Resolution 3
I'm voting no. They have got to be joking. If it's a common strategy for all speccies then I was hoping that OBJ was a bit above that.

If it's to buy out PNO then I'm not sure that that is a strategic move.

If it's to develop their own product then that's not enough money to do it properly unless you want to market it on the home shopping channel. No!!

So, if I'm in town I'll be at the AGM to express the same.

Having said all this, the science is excellent the commercialisation of the science is the challenge.

Maybe Maka was right perhaps 2014 is the year?

    Not happy
