"rejected Turnbull in place of the succesful and increasingly popular Tony Abbott"

Ben you got that the wrong way around, it is Turnbull that is increacinly popular and abbott that is to be rejected. Abbott is polling worse than Gillard while Turnbull polls at 63% as prefered pm compared to Abbott on 30%, even amoungst Lib voters Turnbull is the prefered leader.

Seem the Abbott supporters here are sticking their heads in the sand on this issue.

As for that "shit happens" interview, regardless of what you think about the jurno, a politician needs to be able to handle what ever questions put to them. Abbott could have said the question was not apropriate, no comment or any other type of responce but he didn't, he was totatly lost for words with an increadably long head nodding silence. pm material he is not!
