update - another good sort facing bali drugs c Bali police say the Adelaide model Michelle Leslie has told them that two pills allegedly found in her handbag were not hers and had been put there by someone else.

Ms Leslie was arrested early Saturday morning, on her way to a dance party in Bali.

Detective Mardiaz Kusin told a news conference that police had searched a car that Ms Leslie and her friends were in.

He said police found two pink tablets "inside a folded tissue, inside a Gucci handbag belonging to the suspect".

He said if the 24-year-old is found guilty, she could face 15 years in jail.

The two tablets will be sent to a laboratory later today to be tested forensically.

Police say a urine sample from Ms Leslie tested negative for drugs.

Meanwhile Ms Leslie's family has thanked those who have expressed support for the 24-year-old.

A spokeswoman for Ms Leslie's family says they have received many letters, emails and phone calls of support.

Ms Leslie's extended family gathered at her parents Glenelg North home last night, awaiting news on her situation.
