Very unreasonable for them to expect any preferential treatment, Snooks. They made their beds, so to speak, and should lie in them without whinging. The precedent was set with the fall of Saigon and the undignified US evacuation of personel from that city. South Vietnamese civilian employees of the US were left to face the music as the helicopters carried out the transfers from the embassy rooftops. So....if you get into bed with the perceived enemy, you get to face the consequenses when your "use-by" date comes up and you get spat out........... The same will eventually happen in Iraq and Afghanistan when the Yanks bail out. Some people just never learn......
