note also ARI have continuously and consistently announced to the market that a CR is not needed.

my take on the bidders approaching the lenders is that:

a) they want to put further pressure on ARI board to negotiate with them
b) they want to scare the market to depress the share price
c) they may want to know what they can strip out of ARI (ie sell) under the current loan structure and arrangements.
d) they want to know whether they can extend the current ARI facilities to PAY for the t/o....remembering the recent announcement from ARI that they currently have ~1B of headroom under their current facilities.

everything from the ARI board to date indicates they are savvy players that are looking after their shareholder's interests
