For donkeys ages now the professional pollsters have revealed that mainstream Australians are dissatisfied with Tony Abbott's performance - his enduring ~60% dissatisfaction rating makes him unelectable!

History repeats and Tony Abbott is on track to do for the Coalition what Mark Latham did for the ALP at the 2004 election.

In contrast, in 2007 Kevin Rudd demonstrated that mainstream Australians want to know what pollies are planning to do for our future.

In 2007 Rudd had plans and won the election. The 'economic tsunami' that Peter Costello bequeathed to Rudd knocked those plans around a bit; as of course did his removal as PM.

But after 3 years of opportunity, everyone knows that Abbott is too busy riding his bike, surfing and filming media stunts - his weather vane 'plans' come from off the top of his head and since they are not in writing cannot be taken as gospel truth!

As for undertaking consultative processes to develop those plans - ROFLMAO - even on wheat and water Abbott's all over the place and out of step with 'free market principles' so close to the hearts of true blue Liberals - as he was reminded by Peter Slipper last week!
